To those who wait...

In recent days, God has blasted Becca and I with answers to our prayers!

We have been contending like never before in our lives for months upon months for God to come through for us, to get us out of a time of desperation for peace and provision. Becca is 6 months pregnant, we have 1 bedroom approx. 100 square feet, 1 bathroom between 6 people and toddler, and a house full of very different people with very different lifestyle, schedules, etc. It's been a challenge to say the least.
We have explored any possible option to be able to have a safe home, financial provision, and the time and energy needed to prepare and make ready for Alizah's arrival. We always surrendered every possibility that came our way to the Lord, praying for His discernment and guidance, while always hoping and pleading it was the way out that we needed. But every supposed option that looked as if it might work out for us, fell through or was met with so much lack of peace that there was no way we could move forward. So we have continued to wait upon the Lord, and trust that He is going to give us His best, and that He will honor our choosing Him and His way over any effort on our own.

And praise Him, He has come through!

So now, with great joy, we are about to move into a new apartment with THREE bedrooms (a HUGE step up for us), and I have been offered a better job that will not only provide a great amount of training and experience, but also benefits and pay that will suit the new needs coming with our baby girl on the way.

We are continuing to pray for the details to be worked out, but we have found a place to stay that is very close to work and things are well on their way to being set for us to FINALLY have a place to nest and a refuge to hide away in. We've already started the process of picking out the decor we'll be needing to attend to all the new space we'll be having. We are SO happy and excited and are rejoicing with our family, who have been faithfully praying with us and encouraging us as we have endured and persevered through this very challenging season. Thank GOD we are are the precipice of a new season, we are expecting the Lord to follow through with His Word and that we will be able to hide in the shadow of His wings, to recover and be filled emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

My heart just bursts with gladness and gratitude at the Love of Jesus. He has never failed me for as long as I have put Him first and pursued His Will and Heart.

Truly Romans 8:28 says it all for us:

"He will work all things out for the good of those who love Him."
